TechEase Books Connector – Privacy Policy

This page explains how the TechEase Books Connector application handles data. The application is a private, internal tool built and used only by TechEase USA LLC to connect our own QuickBooks Online company to our own back-office bookkeeping automation. It is not sold, offered, or made available to any other business, and it is not listed on the QuickBooks App Store.

What the app accesses

The app connects to our own TechEase QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's official Accounting API. It reads and writes only our own business accounting records, such as the chart of accounts, vendors, bills, expenses, and journal entries. It does not access the personal data of any customer or any third party.

What we collect and share

We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information through this app. The app exchanges only our own company's accounting data with Intuit, and nothing is passed to any outside party.

How credentials are protected

The connection keys and tokens used by the app are stored on our own private server with restricted file permissions and limited access. Tokens are refreshed automatically and are never shared outside TechEase.

Data retention

Accounting data stays in QuickBooks Online, which remains our system of record. The app keeps no separate copy of your books beyond what is needed to complete a requested action.
